But the scammer wasn't the usual poor grammar, poor speech patterns type it was properly spoken perfect educated clear chat with nothing but solicitous good-vibes and customer care. In reality all he was doing was mining for a second shot at the prize as the card details he already had were now defunct. There's no fool like an old fool is there. :D

I'd love to be a chattybox on a phone when scammers call. Sadly haven't the skill to talk endlessly about drivel for several hours. Can just imagine some old dear, waffle on the phone making the scammer suffer 😂😏

Yer have to bear in mind they can see the figures of successful applications on their website. If there's only a few % that have problems they won't accept the web site ain't working.

Yer have to be organised in wot yer going to say. Like when microsoft calls to fix yer phooter it takes ages to boot. Or ask them to be put on hold while yer walk oft to answer the door, while talking to yerself because they can hear. Looking for yer bank card when needed issa goid one. But there's a downside to all of this. The longer they stay on the phone, the more time they have to try and take control ovvit if thats their intendtion.

I have yet to talk to anyone who has a good word about the site. It has to be experienced to see how truly awful it is. No one, whether on the telephone or behind a desk in the centre, has a good word for it.
All applications could be successful, (and that by the way is nothing to do with the centre), but it wouldn't make any difference to how good or bad the website is. It would just show that every applicant has to be unbelievably persistent to get themselves past the system and to the desk, eventually, to hand their paperwork over.
As they are the gateway to any Schengen country, they govern the paperwork trail, they cannot, as far as I know, be bypassed. But in the past the system has broken down to the extent that I had their own IT bods running round in small circles until they could find a work-around to enable us to get past it.

Had to be up at 0500 hours for W to take the last of the "drinks" that she needed to take before I dropped her of at the hospicle for her op.
House seems quiet.
Dogs lying by the front door waiting for her to come back. :(

Got very little sleep last night, wind as usual. Would go backt to b ed except I have to be up to take delivery of summat she has ordered.

Ask them for stats on how many complete what they heed to, on their website. From what you say it does, it must be being used by hundreds of peeps per day.

Noticed that last night as I do a bit of astronomy. As I got up from the seat, it was stuck to my bum from frost. 😮‍💨🙄

Afternoon folks :).

Well the little fluffy white flakes came to nothing overnight.
I made it to the feul station to fill the LPG tank in the tractor. Still a bit confused. It was showing low in the 2nd from last bit on the scale (5 segments) When I broke it down it was showing in the lowest part of the 3rd.
Today took 37liters. The time I broke down I think it took more:vb-confused2:. I think its temp dependent, plus dont think the level sensor is right.
Zeroed the trip so 100klm and off to the feul station:). Friend used it during the summer and didnt so I was worried as He filled it probably twice so have no idea from the trip.

Been a frosty start but nice and sunny, just lit the fire 3pm.

The surgeon rang me a little while ago.
Op done, 30 to 40 mm of bowel removed, stoma in position BUT it may well be possible to reconnect her plumbing up some time in the future. So I think this is a success. :):):)
She is not up on the ward yet but once there and compos mentis she will be having a visit.
So thanks for all the good wishes.
Things could deffo have ended up worse.

On a good clear night here we can see the entire milky way so many stars and planets it makes you feel like a speck of dust the colours are amazing I keep threatening to get a telescope, on a side note I worked on two of the domes well re-built them at Cambridge observatory was there for 6 months scaffolders had fun trying to make square things fit a round dome surprising how large thay are, well worth a visit on thear open days and nights 🎇🎇

I think liquid gas does expand and contract depending on temperature is it correct you can only fill to 80% to allow for this it is for static household tankes? ?
