Update on me boiller repair. Me bank ses they charged me ferra service only. Dropped the repair cost of 355, upped to 383 wiv a service. Chap who came oot musta changed the booking to service only assit were a quick fix to him. Tis always pleasing to see good service from a supplier. Tis always a risk when yer invite a trades person into yer castle. Total charge is 163 sovs which is a service only charge. Eye said he were a good person. He's gorra Freelander.

Bit of a mizzy day here so not much happening.
Have lit the fire, not had it burning for 4 days now as its been sunny enough to warm the house enough to get us through.
Plus the solar water has taken the chill off the floors. 4 days of wood saved for next year
Gotta get the tractor out of the garage tomorrow, then clean up the "carnage" (put all the tools back where they belong).
Then the "beast" has to go back in to sort a fuel leak
. Gonna take a while.
But hey what would we do, if we had nothing to do

Sharp frost this morning, brrrr, lots of birds on the feeders, nuthatches and three toe tree creepers thay must be hungry, treat for Sunday going out to are local restaurant, W said she needs to see other humans, just to make sure we're not alone on this planet, what's going on at Barclays bank 3 days and no explanation to what the problem is
We have all them on our trees too plus woody shows up regularly.
Think we are set to have an outing this week too Ms bathday,

Son in law came round to help me fit that big worktop.
So much easier with two of us.
It went in, not the way I had envisaged but it went in anyway. So very happy about that.

You may already know this nuthatches always work going up the tree ,but creepers always work going down the tree ,evolution so thay see insects at different angles and don't compete with each otherWe have all them on our trees too plus woody shows up regularly.

Mixed day today. Fiddled with the bike in prep for warmer weather ( I dont get cold or / and wet when i dont have to any more). Bugger wouldn't settle down to an even idle, either lumpy or too fast. Try again next week.
Beloved's daughter had a sidelight out on her Zaffy. Literally took thirty seconds, was longer in puddin me gloves on.
Then, dogs to the Hamble for a swim, or at least litttlun did. The old girl shouts a lot and runs up and down but doesn't get wet. That's the older dog.. right..
Lunch at the pub with a very nice IPA, grub was good but herself's is nicerer, course.
Burner roaring, drop of port, and back to the chipboard face tomorrow.
Night peeps.
