Wow, that pulled a long lost memory from the depths of me mind. I can remember the series, and I have the same impression - a good, fun girl.Yikes! I remember a BBC programme by Lady Lucinda Lambton who was a professional architectural photographer. She did several engaging little films about public buildings and this was I think about music hall theatres. At one point she stood up on the stage of one of these beautiful buildings and delivered the whole of “The Lambton Worm” in full dialect. I bet she was colossally good fun!
I wondered what classics might have been discussed with those peeps when you first mentioned them. The peeps we got talking to before W had to leave not long before the fireworks last night, were really into their classic cars. The blokey owned a Renault 17 of which I had one and loved, AND an Opel Manta A which I also wish I still had. Ought to have got their phone number, but I am always too slow on the uptake. Plus W was in pain and had to be got home.
