Blimming dpd av dun it agen. We encountered a problem with your delivery. Your driver Nicholas was unable to deliver ( he’s not MY driver, you pay the twerp). So, how? Mrs DG was home, 4 dogs in the house. Failing that, my neighbour was in his yard with a mixer going as he completes his garage. Lying filth won’t be back until Monday when the house will be empty! This happens every single time dpd have to deliver to me so I’m going to cancel every Amazon order if I find dpd are delivering it. Pure laziness, I have no time for it.
 
Afternoon folks :).

I have been a little remiss in my posts soz:oops:.
Its been ott ott ott mid to high 30s all week and set to continue, so have been spending much time in the cool water of the pool;).

Have really done nothing this week because of it. did think of cutting the grass at 6am this morning, but thought well its gonna get really crispy if its short plus the little blue and yellow flowers look nice.

Got another load of wood arriving tomorrow:oops:, I suppose that will give us something to do at 7am on Sunday till 9.

Don't forget to put out plenty of water for you 4 legged friends even if you dont know them;).

Weekend for the workers enjoy:).

This is such a shame and I really feel for you, us having been the victims of similar but from a diffent delivery company.
We know very well a guy who runs three delivery franchises and he doesn't allow any of this shenanigans.
Their area is usually a postcode so it may be possible to find out where his depot is and also you can then, together with neighbours from the same code, complain to DPD head office as the franchisee isn't doing his job properly. My mate says that getting decent drivers is a nightmare. The guy may just be one rogue guy from the 10 to 20 it'll take to service the franchise, or it could be a sickness throughout the franchise.
Do hope you are able to make a complaint and weed the flipper out. :(

Can't you nominate a local shop or petrol station and have it delivered there, then you get the message and go pick it up...

Works well in Lunnen when most folks are never in cos they have to work three jobs to pay the rent ...
 
After yessdi's funny thing with the carpet seller, W is a bit hyper, she just watched a white van driving very slowly past our place without stopping. Not happy about it.
Me, I would be furious if it was the guy who is supposed to be delivering stuff to me.
Chronopost. You can guess our nickname for them! No card in the letterbox either. We too have been in all day, with a sign hanging on the gate, "Hoot, we're at the bottom of the land" (Even though we weren't!)

Havin a nickle weekend away. They has a Brocante, or outdoor (flea) market, near us now and again and we're going to have a couple of nights in the local hostelrie to accommodate. Herself finks its a bit fancy whereas I'd say is mostly just second hand stuff (an overpriced tat). There can be innerestin bits all the same and pearls to be found by she wif the loup. Nuncle Ernie has kindly supplied part of the float anorl.

A few of my mates had the Old Ford’s, capris, xr2, xr3, all great motors. Cousin had a souped up capri too…terrifying at speed with him at the wheel😂 plain old me had old series that used to arrive about a week after that lot. They used to rip me to bits about its speed. I know Carterton well, went through Brize a fair few times. Good place. 😎
