Got to the bottom of the winscreen whoppers problem.
The motor was held in by being connected to the arm mechanism and.......

A pile of rust, sort of!
I'll be putting pics up on the thread I started asking for help with it.

See yer!

Tonight is the first night of the three day and night village festival, so free apéros on the mayor and the fete committee.

I'll be toasting the "Gouvernement Travailliste" which will bemuse some folks!! 🤣 🤣 🤣
Hoping that my Dutch mate (another one) who used to repair Landies and has a great stock of secondhand parts, has held on to the RHD wiper mech from the Disco he got bits off for me a few years back after the accident. I don't hold out much hope of getting them sent over here for anything like a reasonable sum.

So we'll be having an early dins! Hope yous all have a nice evening!
All the best Stanley!:):):):):)

Today I have been mostly repairing my front lawn. After being devastated by chafer grubs a few years ago and being abused as an overflow car park it was in a sorry state. De-weeded it last week and raked the moss out (electric rake thing used) and spiked with a fork, and fertilizer applied. Final electric rake today followed by over-seeding, hand raking and covering with anti spuggie netting, I am now pooped and enjoying a few cans. Bird scarer was supposed to be a black cat but owing to a lack of black paint and a shortage of graphic art in the tool box, it is a white doggie.
