How are you mate? Fine I hope!:):):)

I could do with you over here at the mo!;)

Not for your animal knowledge, more to do with your whizzo brains for electronix, and love of projects, seeing as how we have about 9 fancy room stats that have gone fubar :(.
Based on absolutely no knowledge whatsoever I suspect capacitors as each one has 3, at least, that I have found.
They all pack up the same way. Replacements are €60 each. and of course as they are 2 versions later they have LCD screens and all sorts of unnecessary bells and whistles.
God I hate tech!:(
All fine here, thanks. I’d forgotten what warm weather was, until a few days ago!

What’s the exact fault with your stats? Looks like a fairly simple circuit. You might be getting voltage surges, especially with stormy winter weather, so an SPD might be in order.

LM56 most likely candidate, and cheap as chips. Probably quicker to swap in a new one and see, than to poke around diagnosing.

Bit of a tip here for you
When lying on yer back welding sheet steel to the underside of yer van don't do it wearing just a tee shirt 🤔
Had to use several plasters on me arms to cover the flesh wounds

Ive got leather arm protectors & all sorts of stuff for burning & welding as I do a fair amount of it. Burns are really sore
& take ages to heal. I once had a lit burning touch ripped out my hands with a falling pipe, I got the full tip on my thigh
3000 degrees, didnt go to hospital either I used a burns emergency packs off the ship & wrapped it round my
leg, gaffer taped up my overalls & went back to work. I couldnt sleep for 4 days as the throbbing was keeping me awake.
(no jokes lol) The healing was horrible as every time I moved the scabs would crack & the pain omg.
It looked like id been shot in the leg when it healed up. I always wear full protection...........
