Ahhhh, but the secondary and lesser part of the job is to remove the lath & plaster(internal) and wire & stucco (external) section from above the front door (6 foot by 1 foot) to let more light into the hallway (also like a cave 90% of the year). So, as they will be tramping back and forth between the two work areas it sort of makes sense, and they don't want to tramp sand/cement and plaster products into our flooring. :D
Get it now, ignore the latter part of my previous post, posted as usual before reading to the end of the thread!!

One of the lads in work wanted to do a deal on my pug 205 track car for his race bike 498cc honda crf mx bike so I said bring
it in. Had a wee look in the morning but we were really busy & I went out of the yard, I came back at lunch time just after he gave
the other lads a go on it. My work bud was the Scottish champ so he can handle the bike the other lad well the big lanky stupit
arrogant git here hold my beer & pulled a wheely & binned it 🤣 🤣 🤣 Its on cctv & now on the group chat.
Think he's broke his hoop 🤣🤣 He was asking if he could poo with a broken ass as I told him I done the same thing snowboarding.
I had a blast on it it was fast but not brutal like my 2 stroke kx500 an I said I didnt want it but the other lad bought it so he ended
up buying the track car anyway. So 2 cars away this week. :):) Now what else can I sell.

Then putting that stuff down in the hall etc seems very over the top for protection of the environs.

If that is what they are doing then good on them.
When we had all the windows replaced they put no p[rotection down at all. Mind they did a good job and left no mess.
They replaced 1980 wood framed single glazed with plassy framed DG units. Didn't evn have to repaint or anything. And they did it all from inside so no need for scaffolding.

Ive got a cracked glass, I meant to call a glazer today. Tis wooden framed double glazzed with 9 wee units in it, I was going to
take it apart myself but I might do more damage so I'll get glass person oot to do it.

Morning All. :D
No builderers today :( They still didn't get free of their last job and could only get here this afternoon so I said "Why bother?" take the whole day and leave the last job happy. Don't make it look like you are desperate to get to the next moneymaker.
So the graft will start on Weds instead. :)
Shopping later :(
Have a good day! :D
