How are you getting the ends off all those branches @Stone56 ? Some of them look a bit thin to climb on or rest a ladder against. Pole pruner?
By rope and harness and spiked boots had some help but the limes where still approx 40 ft in hight felled 2 populars that had died back 1 wild cherry now about 3-4 days chipping and cleaning up and logging but got some nice pieces for turning 🌳

Just to say b+q DIY, they don't make plastic tubs of paint survivable😟🤨
I'd just got to the bus stop outside a cafe in Oldham. Seeing I had 15 minutes to spare I bought a sandwich for dinner. While waiting for the bus, I accidentally dropped bag carrier a few inches off the ground, which had the paint inside and a few items. Little did I realise it burst in the bag🤬 Not only having the bus turn up and decided the doors failed to open. So waiting another 1/2 hr for the next one.
When I had my dinner I decided to start my painting project to my chagrin yep paint at the bottom of the bag.😩😩😩 So stuff it I used the bag as a substitute paint pot for my little job.

Not only have I somehow managed to lose the locking wheel nut socket for W's Pluriel (luckily we have a spare and I got her to write the number down so we can get another if we need to), but the top half of the boot will only open if I perform a series of desperate moves.:( (At least this isn't my fault, it's just old.)

So once I got it open, I moved everything around so that the spare wheel and the jack etc are accessible from inside the car, the two rear seats have to stay flat, or at least one of them. To open it, once the fob has unlocked the car, you push a button on the back and two solenoids pull the locking bits open in the hatch thing. Tomoz I'll take the panel off from underneath to see if it it's electrical or mechanical. But it's a right pain seeing as we is off to Fland in just under a mumf!

Still, did the other drop link. This time I was a bit wiser and ran a thread nut up the threads on the ball joints. This time the lower one undid with no need to mess around with 6 point Torx/star bit in the end. But the top one was still a poop!
And when I went to look for my 1" socket to hold the thread nut I couldn't find it in what I laughingly call my garage. I hate this as it is the sort of thing I never loose and I only have one proper 1" socket.

Also went back and forth to Motabitz as they managed to not order the correct track rod for the Disco. Still, got the right one now.
Had a nice visit from the stepdottir with prezzie for W for Mother's day.

Did you get that RIB refloated @kevstar ?
Enjoy the evening folks!:):):)

Scratchy-cat has had a $hit-splosion all over the house.
Puddles of poop everywhere. Wifey wants her "topped". :(
I want her "fixed".
She was encouraged to go spend a while outside in the garden.
When I let her back in, I caught her and scrubbed her $hitty legs in the sink and dried her with a workshop towel.
She is looking at me like I am a bad person now. :(
