Arternoon all.
Very rainy here, temp OK I spose.
W off to a Christmas dins with some Guidy Trefoil Guildy peeps (I think).
Spending all my time present wrapping. W decided to give a lot of grandchildren (+ partners) glassware this year. As they are "setting up house".
Well one couple are, the others have been together a while now. So as they are all going by our neighbour's DPD she bought loads of other stuff they'll "need" like T towels and oven gloves. Great! We can use them as protection as well as individually wrapping each glass in bubbles.
But each T towel etc will have to be "opened" so each of those has to be wrapped in Xmas paper. At least the glasses go back in their boxes. Only other way would have been to chuck the whole lot in a box, xmas wrap that then chuck that in another box, like flipping Russian dolls. And of course each individual little parcel has to have a tag/label on it as "they'll be going under the tree".
It's taking for ever!
Anyone else tried gift wrapping a mug tree? I can't find a box to fit it in so I'll have to make one, yet again!
Have a good rest of the day folks. It could be worse I could be having to work in the rain. Sympathies to all those who have to.
:):):):)

... No, he hasn't done a bunk.
He came home after we had gone to bed, and left before we got up because he thought she would oversleep and the kids would be late for school AGAIN. He was right, he had to shout up to her through a locked door to get her backside out of bed. 😂
He's been working there all day and will be back for dinner tonight. Shucks! Thought we had got our house back for a moment there. LOL. 😂

............ one day it'll come and I hope he says 'thank you'.

Strangely, last night in the middle of the night my hearing came back on in my right ear.
When I woke up this morning it was back to muffled sound.
I have booked myself a microsuction session for next week to try and get all the wax out of my ears.
My Sister has this treatment and says it is very good at clearing things out.
Apparently it is a family trait that we have very narrow "Lug-holes" and we get a bit blocked up.
I have high-hopes and it is only £65 and takes 30 mins. :)
