...we are struggling with a dilemma. :(
My son has asked if we would rehome his 2 cats "Mitsey" and "Aslan".
Now our admittedly awful cat would certainly be freaked out by another 2 appearing.
We don't live in a close/cul-de-sac like they do, we live on a rush-hour busy road so how long would they last?
Do we want to be responsible for more animals at our age?
Decisions, decisions. I am tempted to say yes until you move out from here to a new place then you take them with you and you feed & water them while they live here.

That seems a reasonable solution Dan, assuming any new accommodation allows pets?

Such a lovely morning here that the plane couldn’t find the airport so went back to Glasgow

Good news, chin up an all that..

Separately, who was it had a knackered shoulder on ere please ?
Scraping acres of wallpaper has done a right job on mine.
Me, amongst others I think.
I got mine sorted out by going to a chiro. It turned out to be referred pain from my neck, caused by whiplash in a car accident.
But yours sounds more like repetitive strain injury of some type, or maybe arthuritis.
Best of luck with it.;)

Your idea sounds like a very good one! With the proviso, "Provided they get on with our cat!";)

Norton antivirus ran oot, the offer is 20 quid for the next year & 99.99 sovs thereafter stuff that.
Who's using what.....
I'm on AVG now after having had Norton, who peep me off constantly telling me I need to do stuff then saying "but it'll cost you".
You may remember @Hippo and I having convos about it. Got meself covered off eBay well cheap, download an all no waiting for it to come through the post.
The offer you got is cheaper than they offered me, as you'd expect.;)

Got some weird stomach pain, lower bowils. Couldn't sleep very well, fink it might be my diverticules playing up.
Either that or the effects of bending over the bits of old worktop I am cutting into making templates, then taking them in and out of the garage to the utility and back. Still, nearly finished, in fact the cuts are finished I now just have to see if my idea for putting the new whole one in will work, by joining the two template bits together.
At least I will two sons-in-law to help me heft the flipping thing into place, once the battens are up, this weekend.
Jeez will I be glad to see the back of this job!

And for the laydeez, W's surprise Xmas pressie should be arriving soon, so I'll have to wait until she is out at her sewing lesson to see if it comes with the missing part, (the plug, cables and foot pedal,) crossing my fingers like mad that the plug will fit her original one as the plugs are WELL bizarre in shape. And they made various different models. If it don't I'll have to work out some thing else, but at least I will have a working one to play with, wiring to look at etc etc.

I feel like I did when I bought my second Mini and used it, and the first one, to build a good one!

Have a rip-roaring day folks!
:):):):)
