Happy to report that my second life appears to be taking shape. Have been doing bits and pieces for a local builder cum kitchen and bathroom firm, prolly as a favour to me if I'm honest. Have done crappy and boring jobs willingly.
Latest was shifting a dg door up five mil on its frame to clear the new vinyl flooring. Bit fiddly bit nothing peeps on ere couldn't have done.
Appears i have earned my chops. Monday I'm with a retiring (an i dunt mean shy) chippy renovating Victorian sash windows in the pub i mentioned before, there's lots of em. Am hopeful.

No she's been the best car i've owned so far, the 1983 XJ12's gearbox has an issue, i'm sure it's the vacuum modulator, well i hope it is

Same as you. Need to repair some work trousers before bed forgot the hem was broken before I washed them. One of those al I'll do it at a later date.
