From a very, very young age I have always wanted a 'proper' train set but was told that I couldn't have one 'cos that was a 'boys' toy. How times have changed.
And I still would like one!!!!!! No comment please.
At the moment there is at least one prog on telly about rich and famous people who love model trains, even music stars who take them on tour with them.
Why wait? Get yerself one!
I had to give mine up when my brother was given the room I had mine in. :( :( :(

Singers from the mid 90s are not worth it anymore, after it was bought out. It's a shame and hear singer and think great quality but they are no longer.
If your singers have a k on the serial number they would have been made in Clydebank.
Can't live without an over locker and I'd love an old singer that would be so good for my needs.
LR fitted singers in tratters for years. Badged as their own but wurn't. Nuff said.

If I wasn't this age I just might have bought but, for me, it would be a very long term plan of building a 'setting' for the train set to meander through. Not enough years left, unfortunately. :(
