Go on Nextdoor there are pages of Karens moaning on about not being able to get discounts etc in Tesco when paying on their phones. To the extent I think Tesco may even have dropped the app!

Flipping mobile phones!
When I was giving my "details" to the noo MOT garage owner yessdi, he asked for a contact number, as he was putting it al in hos pooter.
I gave him our landline. He remarked how funny it was to get a landline number. I told him that I had two mobiles in my pockets, neither of which were switched on and I would need to switche them on to check their numbers!

(I only carry them for ememrgencies and the occasional rare call to W to check soemthing when I'm out.)

Awoken by the movements of my "house-guest" clumping about like a ruddy hefferlump. :(
He's here for the foreseeable as his soli told him to move out. :(
The unhappy part of my retirement might be beginning. :(

He must pay rent and recrds must be kept or it could go against him.

Sorry, there is only so much I can bite my tongue about.
And your prolly on it anyway. :(

Why would the solicitor advise that!?
Is it owned or rented?
Glad to see others wondering about stuff to do with this out loud!

(TBH if it was me, if I'd been forced to leave the family home, I'd withdraw half the money in all joint accounts, stop all standing orders and direct debits and remove myself totally from the financial situation.
Then she could really see what debts are! And then she could run crying to her solicitor. )

But then that is just the poop opinion of someone who has only ever been in the situation by proxy.
