Morning all.
It is throwing it down ere, periodically.

Frog flower sellers will be rolling in it, as usual cos "Toussaints" is when everyone goes to visit and clean up the families graves, they then all place white chrysanthemums on them, reflect, pray etc.a
As giving flowers is such a huge deal over there, I have never understood why flowers cost at least twice as much as they do in the UK.

We are supposed to be driving to Chichester and back tomorrow for the theatre. Debating now the wisdom of this, although normally we don't let weather stop us doing anything much.
Have a good one!

I too have never understood why flowers are so hugely expensive in France. I once bought the French ex-MiL some flowers for her birthday, this was post divorce. In the local Froggy garden centre there was a cracking Foxglove coloured in resplendent white & green flowers. It looked truly stunning and was only 15Euros, result 👍 It was only after offering said flowery gift that the ex-FiL sidled up and with a wry smile said, "But, v8250, you know Foxglove's are poisonous...?" ;)

.... Ring-Ring.
Dad! MY patio door has broken and it is stuck halfway open and I can't get it closed or fully open.
My initial thought was "And your telling me because?".
After a bit more grovelling and whining from him I agreed to go look at the problem.

We took the sliding pane out and yup! Both runners were shot with one of them missing all of its ball-bearings.
Now this has NOT happened in an instant, we replaced both runners this Spring with new ones.
But clearly it is a problem he has been ignoring for some time.

He has NEW doors coming on Monday, but how to close the hole in the wall so the dogs can be let in and out still?
I measured the size of the hole and nipped back home.
Two overlapped 48 x 32 inch 12mm plywood offcuts from my shed and some screws and battens and a temporary lightweight sliding door was made in-situ. It is crude and it works to keep the wind & rain out.

Well done mate! :)

Some james blunt in a RR has parked in the EV slot at the hotel, fuming
Park behind him, see if the wire thing will go long enough to charge your......... thing.
Then, whether it does or it doesn't, go get him/her paged by the hotel staff.

Alternatively, if it isn't that overlooked, park a long way away, and do your shoelaces up again, 4 times, once by each wheel, then tell the hotel staff to page him as he has 4 flat tyres!!!!!

Only joking.

Well a bit!

Try an be more Dan tomorrow.
Ever think you are too 'available' though?
Jus sayin ;)

I use motorcycle chain lube on my locks and doors for maintaining them, has PTFE in it so I know it's good for moving parts. Other half said what are you doing with the front door and your muc off 🤣
Some chain oils I've used in the past were pretty heavy. The one I use now is more flingy but at least it dunt turn to grinding paste on me beloved chain.
