Just got an email from my new Landrover-nut neighbour in Frogland.
I was talking to him about looking for a tractor etc to deal with the land we don't use.
He has said that he has a tractor which ought to be up and running soon and comes with a rotovator, a "gyrobroyeur" and a cultivator. He likes his machinery and even has a small digger.

Whoopee do!

For a few tankfuls of diesel and possible allowing them some use of the pool (this is a wild, well maybe not so wild, guess, they have never made any noises about wanting this.) I think I may be able to avoid having to buy anything at all.

(I feel a bit like @kevstar at the mo!)

This is fortunately so common in Frogland. Another neighbour has in the past lent us a petrol pedestrian scythe and a rotovator as well as garaging our weedwhacker/mulcher every winter so it don't get nicked out of our shed.

all good news!
Sleep well folks!:):):)

Pedestrian scythe!? You mean for people?? Something best used by the grim reaper

Hey!
Less of the "prof"!
And how do I know exactly what @kevstar 's missus is lookin to drive next?
Does she want a 4x4? A Mini wasn't one of those. But both suggestions are 4x4. I know a coupla blokes with wives/gfriends who rate their Jimnys.

I do not a have a crystal ball, so stop knockin me for just puttin it our there! ;););)
Do you have a betterer suggestion? ;););)
I only thought you thought the Jimny was a Honda, which would be a schoolboy error. Prolly read your OP wrong.

Morning All. :D
Cool & damp this morning (but not raining). :)
Cat disgraced herself again in the dining room. :(
Got the paper, made my coffee.
5p/Ltr off petrol coupon so I will go and brim the rangie later, and while I am over that way I shall raid B&M for a few boxes of their "Ever Ready" LED candle bulbs. Nice & bright E14 (SES) and guaranteed for 10,000 hours or 10 years. I got a box the other week and replaced a few of the 35w mini fluorescent bulbs in the house. Wow! what a difference. :)
Have a great day everyone. :D
