I am glad that they are monitoring but I think I would want the surgery sooner rather than later!Hospital summons for another AAA scan on the 20th. The scans are getting closer together as "thumper" gets bigger and bigger (it is good that they do look more often).
My BIL's AAA burst and he died in a few minutes, he didn't know he had one and was too young (63) for the routine scans to have started and pick the fact up that he was at risk.
But why oh why must the scan be on a Friday Afternoon at 15:30 and not a Monday Morning at 11:30? LOL
