If the crane is stayin and it was used at the tunnel its a period piece from that era so I would keep it as was cream but it is a personal choice

Aha, again!The 150kgs was wat the destructions said, I went for 8 screws through the decking into the base supports which are bolted to the concrete so fingers crossed it stays up.

Got to go inside now and sort out some grub, after I finish me cold beer
Had an early start working in the cool morning air, then it got ott quick
But screwed down the new Brolly with 8x3â screws as the destructions said weigh it down with 150kg
its stayed up for the day and is great.
Just got out of the pool(32) all the way to the bottom, Now sat under a standing brolly, weds are for slumming it

Aha! again, so it IS one of those cantilevered numbers!!!
Even with the blocks allegedly holding it down ours once got blown into the pool. Also one of the shoddy plastic swivel type numbers bust so I fixed it and actooly made it stronger with long bolts or screws. It had a funny little well quite large hole at the top and a second tiny brolly over it to supposedly let the wind go through it.
It wasn't expensive and once it had a tiny tear W didn't want it so we took it to Emmaus a kind of charity organisation who sell 2nd hand stuff, they turned their nose up at it so we slung it.
For some reason I kept the base bit, maybe thinking to use it to make a table or summat.
That would be true if we replaced our cars as frequently as others do. The average being about 10 years or summit?
ALL our cars date to before 2004, and that is the youngest by far, three LRs from around 2000, two kit cars from late 60s early 70s.
Sorry but I'd just tell the Merkin cousin all this and say, "Don't worry we have both had too much to drink but we'll go and see in the morning. If she's dead, she'll keep!"
