Well I was running around with shorts on last week, or was it the week before? And yes, the odd apéro on the terrace ;) but weather here, particularly at 600 metres is unpredicatable at the mo. But when the coronation was on and you lot had the drizzles, we were watching it with sun outside.
There is a saying here which more or less corresponds with "Ne'er cast a clout afore May is out."
Red and white check cloth?
Na!
If you look at this, (I Googled "typical French tablecloths")
We actually have the lefthand one on the table right now! and version of many of the others!

But yes if you click on the right hand arrow you do eventually get to a red and white check one!!
You certainly don't have to look far to find the red and white check ones. Though I notice other colours are now available. There doesn't seem to me to be much point to being in France unless you have the tablecloth. And perhaps a croissant and black coffee.

Not felt too good today so I have been taking it easy. We are working on the 90 tomorrow so will just chill for the evening :vb-confused2:
Well, Land Rovers have a medicinal effect on me, so they probably do on you too. Especially when there are nice new components to fit. Replacing disintegrating roller races with new precision ground items, frayed fan belts with nice supple fresh ones, that sort of thing. Even giving it a new air filter can feel good, especially if the old one is all dusty. Getting bolts out that haven't moved in 20 years can leave you with a warm glow of success too.

All the work is being done by a colleague from work. I will just be sitting and giving encouragement :)

... and a companion in a tight, black, split, pencil skirt, and a stripey, off the shoulder T-shirt, a beret, and a gitane in a long holder...
Yep, we get your picture!!!!!
