Darn phone went dead yesterday so as screen was cracked I decided to get a new one.
Youth in Currys wasn't a great help, no eye contact, never smiled, said they only had one phone in stock that would be suitable for me even though he hadn't asked what phone I wanted.
Needed phone quick as van had broken down on my mate plus other urgent things yesterday.
Just bought cheap one from the youth who never looked directly at me or smiled or said anything other than what he had to.
Aren't you allowed to be pleasant in here I asked as he turned to walk away, he never looked back, just walked off after giving me a receipt.
Looks like Curry's HR needs some feckin training. It does make you want to go to another shop, doesn't it?:rolleyes:

My feckin Brother laser printer will not do double sided, flipped on the long edge. It always flips on the short edge so you have to turn the fecker upside down to read the other side.
Never used to do this.:rolleyes:
I have updated the printer driver, gone into the printer and checked it is on "flip on long side" and contacted Brother for a chat. In the past I tired to fool it by setting it to flip the other way from the PDF printer or whatever, it still didn't work.:rolleyes:
Still waiting for them to get back to me to have a chat with a proper person.
Grrr!:mad:

I gots a smarty meter going in tomorrow.
Does you gets a remote display showing current / past usage / cost etc automeckerly?

Edit.
Just checked onna Web an we do. :)
An there's an Happ anorl, this time next week I'll be a fuel nerd too! :D
Yes as you have found, they have a panel that tells you all the stuff you never knew about :)
Stuff like things that run on electric use electricity.... :eek: who knew that!!

@My Old Landy
Yeah, but we have a range type cooker with a big leccy oven and up till now, in my blissful ignorance, I've been using it with gay abandon. That, and the half hour showers, are doomed I fear. :(
It wasn't a pop at you, I just find it funny we need a 'smart meter' to tell us we are using power to run stuff :) I have been turning stuff off after my family left it on for over 30 years :D but if you need the appliance then you just have to accept it costs.
I really don't look at the meter and it is only on as it is the only clock on the living room!

@My Old Landy
No pop mentioned by me mate :)
I know I'm going to go round everything and get a per minute cost which will then tick away in the back of my head everytime a lights on. :eek:
Will try to be more MOL :D
Bloody glad we int got GCH mind you.. :)
I am a tight sob apparently :)
