Just opened a Chrstmas present, a Welsh whisky sent to us by our eldest grandaughter, (25). who lives there.
Penderyn Legend. single malt.
We are sipping it and remembering when she came to stay as a baby, her parents went out so we bathed her in the sink and I put a nappy on her.
5 other grand children since her.
Life's rich tapestry!

I'm off out to lunch today with a couple of friends so it's an early start. Have to get the dogs walked and then fed and it is an hour and a half journey to the pub meeting place.
It's a miserable looking day 'ere with quite a bit of the icy stuff still coating the country roads. Although the temperature is above freezing, it's got a long way to go to melt all the ice.

It's been p!ssing down all day ere.
Got in from dottirs who gave us a lovely lunch. Presents exchanged, video chatted to her son and his girlfriend in the Falklands via her phone, sometimes tech is OK.

They cancelled some of me ferry boats today, and have already cancelled some tomorrow. I wouldn’t normally be that bothered, but I’m supposed to be on the morning one. Apparently they cancelling them due to the crew having strong wind or something
