Got an email today, supposedly from the PO. Saying they couldn't deliver my parcel and asking me to click on a link to pay for a redelivery. Not expecting any parcels and certainly not from the supposed sender. Looked very convincing but I wasn't born yesterday.... that the Mrs. went to post a parcel only to be told that the entire PO IT system is down across the country and they don't know when it will be back up.
Got a bag of sand and a bag of cement from wix this morning. Came to £10-05. I only had ten sov notes and checkout didn't want to give me all their change. So she gave me a discount, knocked £1-01 off . About time anorl, after the millions of sovs I have spent there over the years.

I passed loads of log piles at the roadside today shocking weather flooded roads, no parking near it
& my trailer was loaded with scaffold boards.
