Afternoon folks:).

Well, that's tidy up complete and did another burn of stuff in the barrel, Cardboard boxes seem to multiply in this house, not sure how so I find it best to burn them before they can, but I must be missing some cos they always come back:rolleyes:.

... obsessively tracking the energy usage here at Clarke Towers is a harmless bit of fun.
Past 7 days it has cost £58.53 thanks to the very mild weather.
112Kwh of electrickery and 194Kwh of Gas.
It won't stay this low, that's for certain. :(
Having just signed up to the Octopus thing, they put me onto a conversation between peeps who have already done them. Supposedly "energy saving tips"
Two takeaways:
1/ we are already saving as much energy as we can.
2/ as they do it on a percentage of normal usage, if you can't save much more they don't give much money back! A few said it wasn't worth it.
We'll see.
One hilarious thing Octopus said was "If your CH is gas then it makes no difference to your electrickery bill if you turn it off/down. Oh yeah? Then it must be hamsters turning the pump.

Just checked and we have done 73kwh for the last 7 days. Gas I have no idea unless I go weigh the bottle but if its 500grams I would be surprised.

Grand total £0 (cos I dont know how much the gas is;))
