...that the exceptionally mild weather has really helped reduce energy usage here at Clarke Towers. :)
I am sure the CH mods have also played a part.
Monitoring my usage daily (I know, like a true anorak) has shown a fairly low use of c.£8 a day all in for the last 2 weeks.
It will have to treble to get to the amount the supplier wanted to take from me monthly via Direct Debit (and that might indeed happen).
We shall see. :D
My overall daily use is less than £2 at the moment and with the government giving us 66 quid a month then I'm in profit for now.
Only got a bungalow though and solar electric for part of the day helps.
Direct debit is 15 quid a month until March

Just ordered new glass, seals, retainers & griddle bars for the fire 160 quid
The cr@p new burn nuggets they supplied were full of sulphur & burnt mega hot wrecked
loads of peoples fires, the griddle bars twisted & bent now started to fall apart.
Merchant not interested to say the least. Pics to follow.
I was tempted to buy new doors for it but at 180 sovs each I'll hold off atm. o_O

Any point in the peeps all getting together for a "class action" type claim? Seems like the merchant needs a good kick in the rear end.:mad::mad:
soz mate, don't need this on top of all the other energy problems.:(:(:(

Na tis a waste of time & effort, cant be doing with the hassle as we would end up doing all the
donkey work whilst everyone else gets on. Fook that. ;)

Weather has brightened today and the sun is now shining.
Staying in awaiting delivery of the new MAP/IAT sensor.:):):)
Wifey wakes up in the morning now with a swollen hand. Same one as she had both the flu jab and the Covid jab, (Moderna) in.
So I had to get her pills out of the packet thingies for her. ;)
Swelling is partially up her arm, does eventually go down. hoping it is just a relatively short term reaction.

Sensor just arrived. in a proper Bosch packet. Let the fun commence!!:):):)
Have a good day folks!!:):):)
