Good result tis good that peeps know there stuff when it comes to the trickery :):)
And I am finally beginning to feel I an learning something about it, cos I was pretty sure that was it, just needed the reassurance of those on here before firing the parts gun at it. So yer, brill that peeps on here are so good and so willing to share their knowledge.

Thinking about it, I won't use gangnails, I'll cut them properly and use drawbored mortise and tenons. It'll look SOOOO cool!
Seriously, you could make em yourself couldn't you? you seem to do enough roof work.;)
Or are trusses STILL cheaper than buying the wood in??:eek:

They are a great lot. :):)
I could make them no probs, they need to be made on a jig or very level surface timber prices are
mental. I dont need them right away. Feckn cheaper to buy a galvanised steel frame. o_O

What angle of the dangle do they have to be at, for planning? And are you planning on using it for storage as well as hanging a Defender off them? Or at least an engine?:eek::eek: Are you having a slate roof or what?
All very interesting.
Pit or lift?
Hmm!
Decisions, decisions.!!;);)

Rite, I have two thoughts, firstly a steel beam from gable to gable at the peen, then slot my joists into
the H beam, then I will have another two beams at the wall height..one running from front to rear but
stopping a few meters from the front of the garage & another one across to support it, thus leaving the
front open to fit a lift. (but dont really need a lift) or 2nd fit these type of trusses & have a room upstairs..

Lots to think about.
If you want a room up there you'll need a decent height so a steepish roof. 45 degs angle? Don't planning have a say in this? In Frogland we couldn't have a roof with steeper angles than 30 degs.
Unless we were at over 600 metres altitude in which case we could have built a "chalet", so wooden Swiss looking thing. We are at just under the 600 metres, but we didn't care, we preferred the Provencal look anyway. but we didn't realise how it meant we couldn't use the roof for storage. which is a bit sh!t.
So if it was me, I'd go with the second idea, especially if you don't need a lift.
But that's just me, we all have different needs.

Whiskey is loaded with antioxidants

In addition to fighting off bacteria and infection, whiskey is loaded with antioxidants. For starters, it has a high concentration of ellagic acid, which helps your body destroy rogue cells and fight off different diseases. You’ll find the same thing in wine but whiskey has much more of these disease-fighting allies. Single malt whiskey has been found to have the highest amount of antioxidants.

Will have one for breakfast. Woke up in a pool of sweat so the fever must be going.
