Blurb says 0.1 seconds, are petrol as quick to stop? Just innerested..
Can't say I've timed it, but pretty quick. Maybe not .1 of a sec. If tickover is a bit too high the blade might chunter on a little bit. This sometimes happens after you have started it and are waiting for it to warm up. But once running proper as soon as I relax the throttle the blade comes to a stop. But yes, cannot say for sure how quick.
Of course you have the safety thing with the lever in front of your wrist which stops the chain as soon as it is touched. No matter what speed the chain is whizzing round at. To save you in a "kick back" situation. Hopefully!
I haven't opened the box yet but i can see this safety lever thing on the pic on the box, which I am sure is a legal thing cos you need it.

It's all Typhoons. They have been doing touch and go for most of the day. There was a couple of refuellers flying too so I expect practising mid air fuelling over the channel?
Yeah quite possible they used to do that where I live just so they can land an abandon. Had an f15 cause me to loose my washing because the engine boom made me **** myself and launch my clean washing over the garden. Remember watching one of the antonovs come in once and that was impressive.
