Just finished feckin about with the Disco trying to make it run normally.
Having managed finally to obtain some proper sensor cleaner...
Cleaned the MAF, was a bit durdy altho has been de-EGRed so wonderin really why I bothered (10p engine)...
Expected the MAP/IAT to be filthy, it wasn't, in fact it really didn't look like it needed cleaning at all.....
Cleaned a bit of oil out of the red connector to the ECM, again wasn't that bad either, having changed the injection loom a while back.
Cleaned plugs to MAP/IAT and MAF.
Started it and ran it up.
Switched it off and reconnected the Foxwell, still showing "Air flow circuit logged low" so I guess it is either the very expensive MAF sensor wot I bought a while back is fercked, or the air filter is reely dirty which is a bit surprising.
The show continues.......
Have a good day folks!
:):):)

Wanted to ask if you could help me with a fuel filter, wasn't sure if I should prime it first or where to prime it. Like I've said I'm not stupid but I haven't done this in a few years. Why I like this group.
It should self prime if you turn on the ignition electrics only, without starting the engine. You will hear the fuel pump running during this periuod. When it shuts oft, turn oft the ignition. Wait, then do the same again. Do it several times to ensure all air is out the system. Then try starting it. May be a little rough to start wiv but should be ok.

edit: eye was finking FL1.

It has an electric starter on off no nice key to turn the ignition around on
