When a student I once worked for a Jewish company delivering electrical stuff to building sites. They were fairly hardcore but nice peeps. They asked me to take a fridge to a synagogue. When I got back the owner of the company asked me how I liked the synagogue. Bit of a weird question but I was diplomatic enuff to say it looked great. (This was in Lunnen not far off the north circular) blokey said, "that's mine that is I had it built.":eek:
One day delivered to the real hard core types, some conduit to a filthy house owned by the guys with the coats, leggings and ringlets. The owner told me I mustn't go with out a tip. He fished about in the oldest wooden till-type thing you had ever seen and gave me............10p.
