I'm still 'ere, braveing the coastal winds stoically - I leave tomorrow.

Have had some problems with the van, things which could have been avoided if a more thorough 'hand-over' process had been done and I still hven't got everything under control! These modern digitally controlled systems are excellent if you have a degree in understanding them. It is not a case of swicthing on and off, every setting wants to know which variation of the multiple offers you want and in which combination would you like them etc. I'm all for eco living but this really is stretching it !
Feel for you DD!!!:(:(

We have a half hour leeway each end of the day. I likes the early shift so back home ready for the weekend already :D
Glad it is working out for you!!:):):)
When I was a teacher we had as much leeway as we liked really, we could come in as early as 7 o'clock and leave more or less as late as we liked.
When Wifey was working up in Lunnen and I used to drive her to the coach station at really stupid O'clock in the a.m. I used to try to get back to sleep but it didn't often work, so I'd be there as soon as the caretakers opened the door. But none of us could come in any later than 8:40 or go any earlier than 3:20. Few of us went home "on time" of course, the work got done either there or at home anyway. 60 hrs per week on average.
So "Flexitime"? I sh!t it.
(I know, 12 weeks holiday a year when every one else is on holiday and the prices are at their highest and everywhere is full of screaming kids. Can't complain!!!)

I'll get my coat, the one with the leather patches on the elbows!!!:D

Evenin volks. Wurk be bizzy zo us boys toad alley vooked come finish. Us knees be comp lanin zo us'll be wotchin fur reports on K-tape - zounds gude tu us!
Aftyer looking at the prices for it, and wondering where I can get it from locally or whether it was going to be better to get it online, I found some stuff very like it in the bathroom, so taped my knee up following the guidance off the Utube thing.
It seems to doing OK.
I'll put the link up if I can find it again
well the one @DanClarke put up

Seems to lead on to it. And by doing the single line following the curve of the side of the knee/upper/lower leg followed by two cross pieces over the centre, it seems to be working.
but the other vid that shows you how to test or have your knee tested may be a good idea as there are one cartilege and 4 ligaments any of which or combination of which could be the problem.
Best of luck anyway and a big "thank you" to @DanClarke for pointing me in this direction! Cheers Mate!!:):):)

Morning all!
Wifey still not clever so it looks like I'll be doing the shopping.
Which is good as it means my knee is to the point where I think it is manageable!
Still waiting for the delivery company to deliver me the leak stop stuff.
Having done the follow your parcel thing, they sent it to one town, then to the nearest commune, the one with our postcode, then back to the previous place.:mad::mad: The fact we live in the commune but in one of the outlying villages seems to fool some "livreurs".
I have messaged them, told them the route and told them to simply enter the name of the village in Google maps, it's the only one in the world they can't go wrong!! Maybe it's the road being closed, i.e. the nearest main road, but there is a DEVIATION clearly marked which passes right through the village!!! Grrr! Grrr!
Weather cooler but shouldn't rain, hopefully. fingers crossed.
Have a good day folks!
