My neighbour is an alcoholic. He lost his license 17 years ago and got done recently for teaching his son whilst clattered, apparently got off because he is recently widowed, remote location etc. I’m wrestling whether to just shop him as he’s just zigzagged to his car. The is semi-rhetorical as I know exactly what you are going say - ffs  Any ex dibble on here who can offer advice as it’s starting to push my blood pressure up.

Not ex-Dibble and no axe to grind but... if he's that bladdered that he's staggering then I would let the plod know the make colour and index number and let them deal with him, before he kills some innocents.

Misty as feck here.
W in bed as not feeling too good. She always tries to do too much then gets tired, and then can't eat.:(:(
So she ate no dinner last night. (This is very common with her, and has been apparently ever since she was a kid, but I cannot do anything about it, believe me I have tried every ruse known to man.:(:(:()
So I am keeping quiet while she is (hopefully) asleep upstairs.
I was going to do some repair work in the bedroom and start on the bathroom that needs finishing off, but she is in the bedroom and next to the bathroom!;):(
Had a look last night at the work-around for the shuttle valve in the ABS system.
What a fiddly little p!sser it will be to do, and, typically, I am going possibly to have to do it over here not in Blighty. Just like the problem with the "thrum thrum" I had last year!!
Don't mind driving with no ABS or HDC, (never used the latter and know how to cadence brake) but TC might be necessary to get Disco plus car trailer with car on it off our land as the run up to the gate is grass, as is all the parking area, and quite steep. Wish I was driving the Disco 1 which has difflock.:(:(:(
(This may actooly push me into making the mod to get difflock working on this beast.:(. At least that is mechanical and involves no electrickery!)
Anyway I think today I will be "on" finding us a new "four à micro-ondes". Whatever it is, it MUST match the décor!!
Have a good day folks!!:):):)

Higher standard charge to cover the cost of energy companies going bust. They din't have the funds to hedge the system, which is the meffud we use in the uk to buy un sell gas/lectric.

Turn stuff off, use less leccy n gas, put an extra jumper on. And take less baffs. Eat stuff that don't need cooking. Visit friends when it gets too cold :D:D:D

We moved to a little bungalow and our costs have reduced by half :p if we did what you suggest, we could half them again!!
Same here, moved into me bung six n a half years ago. Modernised the heating with a new combi boiler, new rads, lots of new double glazing, extra insulation in the loft. Biggest bonus is the living areas are south facing with lots of windows so it gets solar heating throughout the year, even in winter sunny days warm the place up nicely.
