Went off to Backcrackers today expecting W to have gone off to Soto0n re her iPad.
Got home, she was still there. She'd rang to confirm the appt to be told. "No, no record of this, we'll ring Soton, no, they know nothing of this, we'll ring to rearrange at 3 p.m..":rolleyes:
So she made a formal complaint.
Anyways I eventually switched on MY pooter to find an email from them confirming. Sent at 9:45 this a.m. so AFTER I had left anyway.:mad:
So she read this too late to be able to go.
BUT we could use Apple's website to rearrange the appt for Friday and leave a strong message about it all.:rolleyes:
What a bunch of incompetents?
Why couldn't the burd this a.m. rearrange it, if we could later?:rolleyes:

Anyway she won all the stuff she wanted at the auction so she is off to pick it up. God does she spend money on jewellery!

I am trying to get some strength back in my legs and so have been doing bodyweight squats.
100 a day all last week.
Today I have done 105 (7 x 15) with a pair of 5Kg dumbbells as an additional load and that's what I will do every day this week.
Next week I will try it with 15Kg load; the week after that a 20Kg load. Got to fix these weak legs somehow. :)

Im off out to the shed/landy for a bit, I may be back soon as I need a brake pressure bleeder. I loaned it out now when ive went to use it yup you guessed...its fecked :mad::(
When I couldn't get one in France I made one out of a bit of rubber toob, a razor blade and a fat nail.
It works a treat!!!
Otherwise you could always just catch the spurts of fluid in a rag, or a jam jar, but you'd need the wife to help you!!!:D:D:D:D

Afternoon folks:).

Well not much got done today, We had planned on going out to a nice fancy restaurant as its Ms birthday but as it wasnt sunny enough we wouldnt have been able to sit out on the terrace overlooking the port, so we have postponed it till the next bright sunny day:).

So I just stacked the porch with some more wood:).
Off to make some coleslaw in a minute to have with roast chick and salad:).

My legs have gone very weak since covid, cant get up at all from a crouch position now, going to go for a few walks at first see how it goes
