Have to say that's an ell of a price. More or less exact same job we had three quotes as per usual, Wifey being an ex-accountant an all. And the price quoted varied like mad. The cheapest just looked at the job said "It'll take (x Hours) at X amount per hour it'll be £X or £Y if you want us to take the rubbish away." He was honest got the job and did it on time and well.
The others glanced at the job then spent 15 mins umming and Ahing and looking around at the size of the house etc etc.
They had already priced the job in their heads, they were looking to see how wedged-up we were and how much they thought we'd stand for.
As I was throwing one bloke out he instantly started to drop the price.;););)
Sadly this goes on all the time round ere. :(

Sort of, I have asked him to cut it for drying out for firewood.
He says if I don't split the eucalyptus while green I will never split it as it goes too hard?
It does go fecking hard. I had a colleague who had a eucalyptus fall down. He couldn't get anyone to take it away for quite a while. I told my ex s-i-l, after the fact, and he said he'd have had it as it is marvellous hardwood for all sorts of things, I think he mentioned carving or summat.

seems to sort of back this up.
Deffo too good to scrap I'd a thort.

Can't see the other one on the opposite plank.
Is that just the cut-off in the pic?
My set came with two, but I never use it cos I don't have enough room!
Must buy two big planks like yours!;)

Only have one, do one side at a time, l use the planks because it's a smooth surface and l can also get the wheel in line, saved me a fortune over the years.
