It's a special post-op anaesthetic mixture that lasts a long time and reduces the post-op pain levels considerably. :)
My wife (ex theatre & recover nurse) made sure the anaesthetist I had (they knew each other) was going to put it in my wound. He did, it helped. :)
Op on the Friday, home (walking on a crutch) on the monday. :D

Wow thats incredible :):):) I will say to my dad to ask for it. (not for him lol) ;)

Sun blazing through me windows this morning so had to give them a clean (to a basic standard) as the glare was showing up all the muck and bird strikes. Then did an insulation job on me loft hatch, it is a larger than normal sheet of painted plywood to which I have added three layers of carpet underlay to the top surface. Been meaning to do that for a long while as its directly above a radiator. Should keep a few degrees from escaping and help solve the planets global warming problem. :D

Felt a bit sh!t this a.m. aching chest. wifey has had a cold for a few days.
But got better on getting up.
Going to dottirs for dins tonite. yum!
Going to do some mending jobs today. Handle just fell off Wifey's favourite mug and discovered a bathroom mirror has come adrift one side, one of those rotating ones with a magnified bit on the other side. Will Gorilla two pack help fix a tiny spot weld, or whatever it is?
We'll see!
Wifey ordering yet more stuff for Crispmus from Waitrose delivery Friday. Every 2 minutes it's "Do we want this, do we want that? Roasts or mash with Crispmus dins?" etc, etc.
Feels like D-day is coming!!
Have a good one folks, what is left of it!!
:):):)

...that I did a little bit more work on the trike and also made myself another lathe-chuck key so I have a long one and a short one.
Short one for fitting at the rearmost chuck-adjuster and the long one for the front. Long enough to clear all of the lathe and carriage elements. :)
As a pair they work very well in tandem for adjusting. I am well-chuffed with myself. :)

..that the "new" pencil tree arrived and she has managed to dress it already.

Evening folks:).

Good chat with our new solicitor today, He has a list and we have a list of docs to find:eek:. Then we decided we would visit a pub for late lunch early tea, So we tried a new 1. M had half of Belgian cherry larger and I had a pint off Hazelnut brown ale:D They was lovely, a tad expensive at 2quid for my pint but hey;):D Then we both demolished a burger and chips of different varieties:D. Lovely little place and we will probably use it on New Years eve if the fireworks are on this year close to the hotel we use and 1min walk to where the band play and the fireworks are so could be a handy pitstop:D.

Managed to get home before dark and there was white stuff floating around in the air, so covered the car and lit the fire, it hasn't come to much yet lets see what we wake up too tomorrow;). No plans to go out for the rest of the week so we dont really care what it does:D.

Have now chiselled off the vinyl which was stuck to the concrete where the new floor tiles have to go down in the utility.
(Vinyl? don't ask!)
As these tiles are quite a bit thicker than the old ones I was concerned they would protrude. But with bare concrete they will fit just under flush. So an ultra-thin layer of adhesive will do the job. Now have to decide how I'm going to cut them to make sense of it all as they is not as big as the 10" ones. Thank God it will be hidden. Such a faff for an area of about 18" by 9".
These things are sent to try us!
Don't have any grout the right colour either. Existing is a dark grey, all I have is light grey or white. Grrr! Don't want to buy a whole bag just to make about 3 joints!!! Can you get grout colouring stuff to add to white grout?
I'll have to Google!
See ya!
