You should have those underlit coloured disco glass tiles!

I used to go to all these places just after all this stuff in the 60s, the Monaco rooms just became an ornery night club but was still fun altho a bit of a dive, still owned by Vito Centamore, but he had a gambling club in Bristol by then. He had a massively hot mistress called Fiona whom he kept in a flat just off Pulteney Bridge, and gave her a Mini Marcos to drive. The Regency became a gay pub, one of the first to "come out" run by a couple of blokes, they had a big slogan on the wall, "Never leave your friends behind!!" Some on here would have loved it.
Nero's came later, celebrated my 18th there.

Tiffanys which i think used to be a chain of sorts. We always had to wear a collar and tie to get in, which was funny as it was the one where punch ups were the most likely!

Happy days!!!!!!!
God it was fun being in your late teens in the 70s!!!:):):):):)

Haha swinging yer disco balls :D

Nothing more guaranteed to pull a decent burd than to dance on my own on the floor, Others were around, but I took no burd onto one, I just waited for one to dance up to me.
Very much the opposite of what blokes did in those days.
Soooo many blokes back then didn't know that being a decent dancer was cool as far as the wimmins were concerned, they thought it was a bit gay if enything!
And it took a particular type of burd, one with a bit of spunk to do it. (Spunk in the metaphorical sense, obvs!) And as that is the sort of burd I like, double result!! Loved it!!!
