Tips for refreshing the appearance of a tired looking work-surface anyone?
The main worksurface/breakfast bar in the kitchen is beginning to look "patchy" with wear areas and/or faded bits appearing.
I've tried T-cut/Mer car polish on it, but it hasn't helped. Anyone got any proven methods (other than total replacement with black granite/Onyx (which is what she would like).
Not done anyfink today. Anoyd wiv meself ferrit. Cant get mowtivaytid. Was going to move me outside bt line from down stairs ter up stairs. Just gerrin dark by the time eye started so stopped.

Aw that's a shame!Poo cam never recorded me foxes playing int snow. Eye has pic's of the tracks they made but poo cam frostid over so no recording. Bastid.

I was reading about this last week, clean with vinegar then use car wax as you would on yer motor
then buff up, spray an oil based laminate polish all over it & leave over night & buff the day.
We could be doing with noo worktops but I is procrastinating.
A bit poisonous for a food prep surface? might as well use lead paintWill be epoxy resin.
