Guid morn
Damp start but rain holding off
Have Defender MOT on Thursday so will give it a check over, noting there were a couple of advisories at the last MOT
Direction Indicator slightly discoloured, nearside and offside? I have LED's (about 7 years old) and thought they lasted for ever but guess not
so will pop out to Halfords and change them just in case.
Enjoy your day all

Took doggy to vet with heart in mouth. Mine not hers!
It appears her wound is healing OK and the drain came out fine. After a good clean up I was sent on my way with yet more antibiotics and instructions to wash her every day with Hipiscrub.
PHEW!:):):):)
Wifey off to her sewing group so taking it easy, keeping an eye on the pooch, having cleaned out her cage and replaced her blanket with another one.
May have a bash at fixing the cool-box whose switch played up on the last leg of our journey back. It is so big and was so cheap we won't be able to replace it easily, as usual, "they don't make em like that anymore". If I can't fix it I'll prolly wire it direct as we never use it on "warm" or anything else.
Also chasing other peeps for stuff.
Had a row via "chat" with a wimmins from Norton as they want to renew my protection for exactly twice what I can buy it from PC World. She gave me the usual bullsh!t reasons. At least I can continue with them up to 60 days (as they have already renewed it) then cancel it for no charge, so I think I'll get MacAfee again from PCW and do what I usually end up doing. Stoopid. Thought the govt was bringing in some law so that loyal customers don't get shafted like this? About time they did.:(:(:(
Grape juice sample is REALLY sharp. I am not keen on it but Wifey likes it. I'd rather keep the enamel on my teeth!
Talking of which, i ain't been to a dentist since Covid started so now I think I'll make an appointment, if they'll still see me!
Enjoy the rest of your day. Been rainy here the past two.

Refitted the cubby box in me tratter and gave it a quick (basic) hoover round in the back. And found a little black plastic rivet pin which escaped when I took out a door card about 18 months ago. I think the clout nail I used to replace it looks much more in keeping with the character of a tratter so I will put the original pin somewhere safe, never to be seen again no doubt .

...that Thomas is a demon worker.
He felt he had let me down by not being here at 8AM on Monday (when he was on another job till 11PM on Sunday).
Today we hacked off 12" of the 12" deep concrete base of my garden shed (to allow us to correct the fenceline to my neighbours satisfaction).
We replaced 2 fence posts to their (the neighbours) preferred plot-line and then put in 3 more and Thom was working by torchlight to get the last one completed while I cooked our steak dinner.
He worked so late because he said that he would feel bad asking for the full money for the 2 days so far when he missed the first 4 hours of the first day. He's a champ.
I have never seen a guy work so hard or to such perfection all the time and ask for so little in return.
