Its illegal to have a locking blade knife here, SAK come under the pocket knife category, the blade must
be a max of 3 inches and be non locking plus you do not have to give a reason to carry it.
When my dottirs were sprogs one joined the air cadets and the other joined the army cadets, I bought them each a swiss army knife. I ended up getting one of them back years later, still use it now and again. But my preferred pocket knife is a stainless steel brit army knife which belonged to my father in law. It has one wobbly can/bottle opener, one wobbly blade which still holds a keen edge when honed on me oilstone, and a fixed screw driver on one end. Its stamped with a WD mark and date stamped 1953.
