Keep an eye on the weather forecast…

Mornin all.
Turns out our woes at wuk are down to a ransomware attack. Today is day six, it seems they are serious. We've been hot spotting with phones into laptops, hand writing Despatch notes, booking carrier collections by phone.. Show how much we rely on one remote server and it's handler. Mistake.

Have a lovely day (doubt I will) :)
1 has your company contacted the police special IT scamming squad, as this is a criminal offence?
https://www.hampshire.police.uk/CYB...are currently being,(textphone 0300 123 2050).
They are stopping you working and demanding money with menaces.
2. Your co. must get a new server with a different operator,
3 then Firewall it properly with a honey pot set up by the new operator
4 you then need a second server to back up the new one after each transaction
5 The police peeps will save anything savable from the original system.

Al this from Wifey, ex IT auditor.

Morning All :D
Another Sunny but cool day here. :)
Got the paper, and now having a Coffee.
Another Chiro session today @ 10:30. The guy must be minted @ £42 for 15 minutes.
Have some pain this morning after yesterday's plumbing fun, so maybe he can crack that out of me.
But no matter what, its good to be here among all you lovely interesting people. :)
That seems steep although you have said previously that he is a superspecialist.
I thought they had a national tariff scale thing. Mine charges £35 per session and it takes as long as it takes.
Still hope he is getting to the bottom of it.:):):)

PS Mine told me he put both his kids through private schools and I know he owns a yacht that will cross the Atlantic cos we were talking about sailing the other day. Don't think his wife works either. So If he can do this, your bloke must be rolling in it!!!

Absolutely the very best with all this mate.
Thought Boris was making getting back into the country easier. Seems not.
Have fun with your M &D and best of luck with the rest!:):):):)

I don't think he is short of funds ;)
Also (this may really surprise you), he is a Veterinary Chiropractor.
So people with dogs with injured spines etc. he treats them too.
We all know money is no object when it comes to our 4-legged friends. ;)

Best wishes for your trip to reconnect with your family after such an extended absence.
While there is a deeply sad driver for your trip at this time, it will be so very much worthwhile.
I managed to get back to the UK from California see my father when he was very ill and in hospital. We managed to have that much needed private time together to say all the things that needed saying between a Father and Son.
Sadly, I never saw him alive again but I felt I had not failed him, and we conversed by phone and letter many, many times.
My very best wishes go with you mate.

I don’t have to do a test before I leave, and to be honest not sure the benefits of the 2 day test rule;).

Mum is keeping me up to date with messages, but I can’t help but think Bruv is keeping stuff from them.

Thank you both for your kind thoughts.

We had a problem with our youngest dog, last year or the year before in France. We didn't know what it was but she was limping. So the young female vet said "It's this" and gave us painkillers for her and told us to keep her calm. We took her back and saw the older male guy and he said he thought she had twisted her neck. So he basically did chiropractic moves on her and cured her there and then!
So I am not completely surprised, but a bit as I didn't know it was a "thing". Can't imagine cracking a bull or a cart horse's neck around!

Light cloud covering and dry. My gardener is coming to sort out my car difficulty this morning .:)
Want a good laugh at my expense?
Well, my wonder man came and I went to show him how low the fluid was in the container - below the lowest line - " Those lines, my dear, are part of the pattern on the bottle. Come this side and you will see the marked high and low marks here.":D:D:D
