Yep sunny here at the moment though it was raining when I let the dogs out at 5:30.
Wifey on the "busy, busy, get of your ass Stan and get busy!".
Really don't know what drives her, except the house hasn't been lived in for 3 months.
Chiro booked for 3pm, not next week sometime as it would be in France! got to bring my own "big towel". We don't do bath sheets. Might take two biggish ones.
Might ask for a bit of a refund as they obvs aren't doing the paper-towel or laundry thing.;)
Changed some light bulbs and every time I do this I wonder, as they are nearly all halogen, how many more we'll be able to get before we have to swap everything over for LEDs.:(
Have a nice day peeps.:):):)

No rest for the exceptionally naughty. ;)
Today I have been tasked with changing the door handles on all of the doors.
Out with black wrought-iron and in with shiny chrome. Sigh.
Not a job I have been looking forward to. £20/pair for the handles and nothing matches up screw-hole wise so a finnicky job to be sure.

LED's are much better IMHO. The Halogen's "Pop" all too quickly because they run so hot.
Good luck at the back-cracker's! :)

Quite possibly but the 12 x 500 lumen LED downlighters in my kitchen are many times better than the 6 CFL's that preceded them and they use less energy don't take forever to reach max-brightness and can be used with a dimmer.
That's all goodness. ;)
if they are high quality (as opposed to just highly priced) then they could well be nearly as good as halogens.. the cheap/mid range LEDs are atrocious and are no good for you... BUT they provide more light than you need, make everything look well (over)lit so everything is awesome

this is a good example of folks being clueless.. office i work in is like pic A, whereas it should be closer to pic B
folks like A because it looks clean and sharp and 'professional', looks new and modern, but in reality its artificial, harsh and gives you eye strain, headaches etc
