Don’t know I don’t drink posh stuff..it could be “corked” Iv heard that saying in many movies
"corked" in properly kept wine is very rare.
Keeping bottles on their sides so the cork is kept moist and swollen in the neck of the bottle prevents the air from getting to the wine. In all my time both as a wine waiter and as a private person who keeps a couple of cellars i've only come across one or two cases of corked wine.
So yes, stuff of the movies!!

You are absolutely right and although we had to do medical tests etc on both dogs and oursleves as well as other paperwork, our friends were fantastic and managed to still show us places that we didn't know nearby although we have been all over Normandy for 4 decades! All in all a great time!

Well done mate, but you want to watch it. having done simla in frogland I put my neck out so much i now have pins and needles in the thumb and first two fingers of the left hand, as well as having to take morphine for a while in order to be able to sleep as the left elbow had so much referred pain.
Look after yourself mate.:):):)

First job tomorrow is remove the the front prop & pull the osf shaft/cv on the fender & pop
the diff out, I have 8x4 sheets of 3" marine foam to roll about on which makes a massive
difference nothing worse than being in pain after doing a shift under a motor.

When was the last time you done 100mph :p:D
Can't remember actually.
I have had a load of cars that would do it, and a load more.
But driving Landies has slowed me down a bit.
Have done a few track days in kit cars where I didn't dare take my eyes off the track to look at the speedo!
Once thought we might miss a ferry having had to go back for summat in a Rover 200, did 127 for quite a bit of the journey Ferndown to Portsmouth, only to find the ferry was an hour late! So proved its top speed was accurate. :):):):)

... herself thinks I am now a marked man.
Little $hit chav scum bastid rolled up outside chav-scum house across the street and thought it was OK to sit in the car with his stereo and super-bass on full blast playing what he liked.
As I could feel the vibrations from it in my guts inside my own house I went to my front door and opened it and shouted to turn it down or off as I should not be able to hear his crap inside my house.
There was a few seconds of non-compliance and then I think eventually it dawned on the Neanderthal brain inside the thick skull that what he was doing was not acceptable.
Wifey is worried we will have a brick through the window.
My feeling is that if no-one tells the feckers its wrong, they think its ok then.
