It's a great little saga for kids.
I prefer my Sci-Fi and Fantasy books.
The Chronicles of Thomas Covenant is very good.
The "Dune" series is excellent (the new film is due, with decent CGI effects).
Far and away my favourite is the much under-appreciated "Saga of the Exiles" Quadrilogy by Julian May.
Agree with all of this, with caveats. The last Covenant series was heavy going. I have them all in hardback and still haven't finished them. The Dune books got iffy after the first three and the ones written by his son are bloody awful. Have you read Julian May's Rampart worlds trilogy? Not as epic as exiles but good fun.

I agree that it is indeed man-made. Dr. Fauci and the Yanks are not blame-free as there is allegedly an audit trail implicating them in funding the research. One has to ask "Why?" and "What were they looking for?"
Is "World Population Reduction" one of the key goals of the WHO along with the biodiversity aims?
Just think, if you wiped out 40% of the worlds population with a convenient and inescapable virus you probably solve the global-warming crisis and any global shortages on anything.

What a bunch of bollox ...

Yes, I've read the Rampart worlds too. :-D
I bailed on Covenant Chronicles after White Gold Wielder because I was frustrated that he was such a lame-ass wimp all the time.

But I am so glad we filled the cellar in the UK before Brexit as each bot we bring over now will cost us £2.60 min If we go over the allowance of 24 bots each.
So we've got enough to last us 5 years! If we don't entertain, which is currently being curtailed by our friend Mr Covid.
Have you taken into account that your fiends on lz drank most of it when you were on the ferry? Good party that was :D:D:D

I thoroughly enjoyed them, she drew the last two out a bit but on the whole enjoyable, not LRs standard, but not bad.
