its not the heat but the drought it hasnt rained here since early may,my land been fairly heavy is still supporting crops but other lighter land wont without irrigation, though i lost all my peas to pigeons
Ah yes the lack of rain. That's what I was thinking as the soil is dry but i used the wrong words and blamed the heat.

It's quite surprising how close we are to supply problems. Even though we're an established advanced country if we suffer with low rain our food chain suffers to. I didn't realise we were such a large exporter of peas to Europe.
