I put it on freecycle and got silly people asking me to post it :( I asked the local charity place if they wanted it now they are open again but they didn't as it is too big.
We tried to give some electrical goods to them but they can't get them PAT tested at present so didn't want them either.
It will all end up in the tip as I cannot be doing with time wasters or the like.

Our local tip keeps all small electricals and tests them to give to homeless peeps when they get a gaff ...
 
Afternoon folks:)

Hope you have all had a productive day.
We have had most days this week begin with sun and an afternoon of the big man upstairs banging his pots and pans and playing with electrics:D.
Today was raining when we got out of our pit, so we went into big boy town for supplies.
Got all required for the horse caravan repair, and a bunch of other stuff that we needed:).
So we are now fully stocked for 2 weeks work, for moi:eek:.

You may be wondering what I am going to do with two Tilley lamps.
Well........
Here's the theory!!!
Light them both, put one at each end of our long patio outside our place in France, so they will attract the mossies, while we sit in the middle :confused:. Far from the lights. (Wifey suffers so much with their bites, anything to get rid of them.) May add refinements, like stuff they can fall into and die from!
Or a Hoover tube near them.
Or else I'll have to buy yards of mossy netting and put it all round the flipping thing! (At least it has a roof!)
Fed up of having to move indoors once the sun goes down, or spray Wifey with gunk. yes Gunk! (and not the engine cleaning stuff, unless it has mossie repellent properties I don't know about.)
Keep it clean folks!!!

Yep, until we can scarcely breathe! still don't seem to work, much.:rolleyes::mad:
The problem is that she is one of those peeps who, if bit, the bite swells up, itches like feck and then 24 hours later starts itching again.
So if we go out at night, like to a concert or something, she has to dress very carefully, i.e. no visible flesh and what has to be visible is covered in Deet or whatever it is. She also has a bracelet with a stone on it that she soaks in some fluid. Which apparently works fairly well. Her body heat heats it up etc etc.
