Yeah I know, I built it from a load of bits spread around the garden and until a few weeks ago I never thought of selling it. I love it but as the saying goes 'it's a Jeep thing, you wouldn't understand'U have a tidy s2 my friend
In the uk at least that land rover is worth alot more than the jeepYeah I know, I built it from a load of bits spread around the garden and until a few weeks ago I never thought of selling it. I love it but as the saying goes 'it's a Jeep thing, you wouldn't understand'
Yeah, Defenders are stupid money but even in the last 5 years series prices have rocketed. Parts are an issue with older jeeps as freight costs are high at the mo. I never understand why there's so much antagonism between land rover owners and jeeps. I used to get it all the time with my last one.In the uk at least that land rover is worth alot more than the jeep
It's vice versa with jeep owners too, I think its because jeep owners wind up about land rovers unreliability but s1,s2,so and defender were reliability. And land rover owners say about the more important things in peacetime that land rovers did compared to jeepYeah, Defenders are stupid money but even in the last 5 years series prices have rocketed. Broke down when I cooked the engine at a pay and play site...
My Defender only broke down a couple of times which were my fault not maintaining it properly...

My discovery I don't think ever broke down

And my series is simple to work on.
Chassis rust is their biggest issue. The jeep chassis is a different design and doesn't hold all the crap in like the box chassis on land rovers
Is that wheel falling offt the jeep!?See, they can be chums...

The cj and the series both do 20'ish to the gallon so running wise they're pretty comparable. Can't afford both though unless you lot start drinking more cravendale
