You'd be surprised though. The spoken English of my Swedish colleagues is better than some on ere. They learns it watchin our tv progs, Swede telly is atrocious parrently. My mate Henrik even has a Scots accent, speaking English, as a Swede.. He spent a lot of time in Edinburgh.

I also hear that the Muppet Show is now being shown with some kinda "this stuff int ok no more" disclaimer these days. Innerestin times..:rolleyes:o_O

I can't hear anyone speaking on my computer. Am I being cheated on????

Daily, I drive down from our 'ills to the Towy valley, then drive a few miles following the course of the river before crossing it and then driving towards the Black Mountains, following a tributary river (Sawdde) of the Towy, which is flowing off the black mountains although I walk on the flat plain before the rise up. Got it!!:)
If i reverse engineer this off google maps, I'll find your place.:eek::eek:
You must use more fuel walking your dogs than anything else. ;)
True love knows no bounds!:):):)

Fox/Badger Stopper made & installed today, shopping done and rogue-glasses accepted as "duff" by the opticians and will be replaced FOC.
Had to buy the MIL a new washing machine £400 as her one is well past it and the bearings are shot.
For an old bag she is really "picky". "I want a Bosch Washing Machine".
Why me? Well, because her son (who never worked) has no credit rating and has no cash and no credit card and cannot help her.
But he can turn up for free Sunday roast dinners at his mum's...no problem.

Sympathise mate!
When I used to bring a girlfriend, or a mate, round to the flat I shared in London with 4 other guys, we used to charge them 50p for dinner. (1976) no one moaned, we cooked much better than most students. and it got rid of the free-loaders!!
If she's getting a free washing machine, I'd be tempted to get her what you can afford and say, "If you don't like it, then I'll give you the money and your son can make up the difference, then you can get one made by who you wish. that's only fair isn't it?"
Sorry, but I also had a Ma in law who was a total bag. She also favoured her useless, conniving son over her daughter, Wifey, who really looked after her interests.
Well done for the gate and the glasses!:):):)
