I have always gone home to find the Mrs has painted something. It’s not good her working from home.
DD, why not do it in the middle of the nite, or really early in the morning? As you seem to wake up early. Like wot Wifey does. That way she gets a slot when she wants it. (Bit of a pain but it is only once a week !)It's bins out day for me today and I forgot about it until early this morning when I was opening the gate for Mr Tesco. It must have been all the fun I had yesterday that caused my brain to malfunction! (NO comment)
However, all is now out and I await Mr Ts delivery - fist one I've been able to get since last November.

Being here in the fleshpots we have lots of supermarkets to chose from. our Waitrose deliveries don't even come from the nearest one but from one in Ringwood.

I think the important thing is that it SOLD 'cos it looked nice and clean, what the buyer chooses to do with it is up to him/her.
As part of the spring clean and "find somewhere to put your junk" drive, I am gutting my car and Landy mags for the bits I want and throwing the rest away.
I'm getting a bit faster. Filled one box file and just started another from a pile of Land Rover World and Land Rover Owner about 3 or 4 feet high. Still got a pile about 18" high to do.
It's amazing how much you don't keep, all i keep is the Workshop type stuff and things to do with Discos 1 and 2. I also look out for disco 4 stuff for a mate, as he's just got one. There is very little on that. (Oh and letters of mine they have printed)
Won't be able to do this with classic car as so much is good, ditto Gazoline, a french mag.
But I'll be able to do it with Kit Car and Which Kit.
All takes time but keeps me off my wretched foot!

No doubt about it. It is just a very expensive and time consuming way of making sure it has a chance when there are so many like it on the market. Bungalows fetch a premium round here, as you would expect, but then there is still competition and peeps are so fussy nowadays. doer-uppers go for far less.
The K & B were only B&Q ones anyway, but nowt wrong with them, they are similar to what we put in our place in France altho they do a have a range of styles and prices and i think he put cheapos in.
We have already dumped over 1 tonne of stuff and probably have the same again to go. We are not planning on taking a lot with us from the house.
It's when you go in the loft and find tea chests with stuff in them from when you moved in.
Or worse still, from the previous move to that one!
I have a book case full of books i rescued from my dad' s house after he died. All good books though a bit heavy, history arts and culture type things.
It's 3 rows high and about 5 feet long. He died in 1998 and i have yet to read more than one or two of them. Wifey keeps buying me tons and i read those all the time.
Now she wants me to "go through your dad's and throw most of them out, you're never going to read them all." Well what i kept was about 1/4 of what my dad had and he'd read all of them!
Must run in the bloody family.
But best of luck with the sort out, not fun at all I'd imagine.

. Strangely enough, I started to do the same thing a few weeks ago as I had a mountain of Caravan and Motorhome mags.One thing I did notice when doing as you are, is just how much information is repeated every couple of years. Enjoy yourself.

When I sold my last house I just splashed magnolia on the walls and white gloss on any woodwork because the estate agent commented that one persons colour scheme isn't to everyones taste and can put some potential buyers off.
As you say, what the buyer does is up to them.
