Don’t think lady Nicola gave you permission to leave the house!!
Naughty boy
Today I am mostly sanding down my dining table - 40 years since I bought it an the finish on it is well battered after decades of abuse. Quite a nice grain under the shellac, haven't decided what to refinish it with yet. Maybe something lighter and showing the grain off .
It's not fun when Wifey gets on her high horse and starts mouthing off at me as if everything is my fault. Do all females have to, by law, ensure a bad situation is made worse by rowing about it?
Anyway, turns out the work top didn't come from the ones who supplied the kitchen one. so not their fault.
Twas Wickes who supplied it along with all tother stuff. And on the plan they printied off together with artist's impressions, it is obvious they thoughtlessly assumed worktops in both rooms were going to be 600 mm. They were going to originally supply and fit the one in the kitchen but they got stupid when it came to templating, so we gave them the elbow and got one elsewhere, but the utility one is still in its plastic wrapping in the garage.
Looks like we'll simply be ordering a new wider one, once Wifey can stop shouting about it all.
Anyone looking for a new 3m x 600mm x 28 mm worktop and upstand, ( small one)? Going free? Collection only?
EEEEEEEKKKKK!!!Lightly burn the top to bring the grain out & use osmo oil or spray clear lacquer over it.
Damm too far
Words bloody fail me.I had a busy wee day after I dropped the digger off, we went on a road trip still within Argyll & bute
still in my council area & for work purposes I literally bought a shed load of tools most less than
a year old.
