Just for you, UTC is the Americanised vertion of GMT!
Jeez, and I thought the Hippypotatomouse was fik!
Sorry Hippo!

Not "americanised", more like Frenchised or Europised. "Today GMT is considered equivalent to UTC for UK civil purposes (but this is not formalised) and for navigation is considered equivalent to UT1 (the modern form of mean solar time at 0° longitude); these two meanings can differ by up to 0.9 s. Consequently, the term GMT should not be used for precise purposes".

From https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greenwich_Mean_Time

So if Near Enough is good enough, then GMT may do.

Clearly it would not suit a refined and punctual driver in a Freelander, but other LR drivers won't be that aware of time.

In theory Solihull is the centre of most peeps world on ere.
I will continue to following GMT. Reliable and trusted like Freelanders. :)

Interesting info on skytag gps.

Tratterer has his biscuit tin stolen. Unknown to the thief it has a skytag gps fitted. The result being the police trace his tratter while being driven away with the help of skytag, and the thief gets caught. It would seem he also gets a bite oft a police dog.
