Good Morning All

Well, that was interesting and I've just resigned

When I quit my IT job it was with the intention of finding a job that I actually enjoy and I have not enjoyed a single moment over the past 11hr shift, so when the boss arrived in I had a quick chat and explained that the job wasn't for me. He was very understanding and thanked me for letting his know so quickly.

So, back to the drawing board (again)

I got up early & thought id browse for a bit fkn laptop done an update
bastid thing lol im off damp n dark out with showers on the way, lovely.

Mornin all. Gas boiler service today, then round to dottirs for the same. No I'm not doing them myself, got a proper bloke to do it .

Another crisp & cold one out there today.
Bumped into the son and grand-kids on their way to the pokey School.
Got her paper, fed the cat etc. etc.
Gym re-opens today, so I shall be going along their later.
Haircut booked for this afternoon.
That's the day sorted then. You all have a good one too.

So, reading between the lines, they reviewed the cctv footage overnight and watched you up on the stool to reach the top shelf to thumb through the zoo and nuts magazines

2 x Gas boilers serviced. Wallet emptied. Another big jobs list at dottirs house. Bluddy good job I is re-tyred, I wouldn't find time for proper work

Consider yourself lucky
My Samsung S8+ has just burst apart with a swollen battery.
It is still working, but clearly the battery is NOT happy.
A new battery is ordered and I hope to be able to do the required phone-surgery myself.

sounds like you've had a lucky escape there
whatever you do, don't put it in the microwave on max for 5 minutes to neutralise the lithium cells
