When my pa worked for them they used to have their own small plane.
As there was no room for a co-pilot, all who used it had to learn how to land it.
My Dad loved this to bits. should have seen the grin on his face when he came back from training!:D:D:D:D:D
It's reg was.....wait for it.......G-OLLY.
Bet the shop doesn't have that in its stock!
He used to say it was a little concerning when the pilot handed him a torch and asked him to shine it along the wing. He was looking to see if it was icing up!

(Forgot all about this until the Golly showed up here!);)

Morning All :D
All morning duties done, a cool but dry start here. ;)
While lockdown is a nuisance, I like the "Child-free" nature of it very much, I am getting much more "me-time".:)
I managed to cap the ends of a seat mounting for the tilting trike yesterday and tack it to the frame. It would be nice to try the thing for size.
Today is the 14th anniversary of the massive angina attack that put me in hospital overnight and for the next day before I made my escape back home to celebrate my youngest's 21st. :D
This coming birthday will put me 10 years older than my Dad who died at a mere 56 years of age. :( He's been gone since 1986; Miss him still.
You all have a great day today. :D

Morning all I had a long lie today :):)
Working 7 days takes its toll been the last 4 weekends working only another one to go.
Im off to the wood yard for some more timber via the tip to get rid off the cr@p
then the glaziers to pick up a windy, then to the builders merchants for guttering.
I think that's all.

Have a good day ya'll...oh & its not raining :D:D:D:D

Morning All
Just out of bed :)
Lovely clear skies, lots of sun and just a gentle breeze.

Me new curtains work fine but there is some leakage around the edges, obviously not too bad given the fact that i managed to sleep until late in the morning ;)

Enjoy your day.
Go to your landrover tool box & get out the gaffer tape to seal the edges of the curtains.
(Unless the leakage was else where. If so don’t use the gaffer tape on skin)
