Morning you lot.... Mild n foggy here too, listening to the birds is usually quite nice
but having crows at one side & seagulls at the other shouting at each other is disturbing
the piece lol

I went to bed early last night & forgot to back up the fire oooppps
Bit chilli in errr at the im off to get a heat in the landy o_O:D

Safe day ya'll @Dippypud hope your not in too much pain, best wishes fae me ;)

I would just like to say the Classic car MOT exemption is stupid..

Had a Nice Silver Shadow in today from a wedding service, owner was the typical stuck up toff "arse" noted a few things..

I however noticed a good few other other things..

#1 Only one of the headlights were working on low and/or high beam
#2 The NS indicator wasn't working
#3 Massive fuel leak from the Carburettor which was filling the V with neat fuel
#4 Fuel tank was porous
#5 It was running so rich neat fuel was dripping from the tailpipe
#6 Both front wheel bearings were installed incorrectly which has subsequently destroyed the bearing, NS,
#7 NSR caliper was seized and pad worn down to nothing
#8 FR Caliper leaking fluid...
#9 Brake lines front to back excessively corroded.
#10 Front compliance mounts worn to excess.
#11 Exhaust manifold leak, "excessive"
#12 Centre muffler excessively corroded.
#13 rear height control rams leaking
#14 The brake warning lamps had been disconnected, and upon test driving it was evident the one brake circuit wasn't working. - Narrowed down to the rear most pump on the engine being defective and the brake accumulators needed recharging.
#15 Gearbox had a leak from the front pump seal..

I did enjoy presenting him with the £8987 bill for repairs though....

He nearly keeled over..

Just goes to prove just because it is MOT exempt doesn't mean it doesn't need regular maintenance.

And being the braking system runs off pumps on the engine if you bust a pipe it'll just pump all the fluid out and you'll crash!

Anyway...

Been a good day..

Dint no u did MOTs!
If there was petrol coming out of the exhaust, I'm surprised it ran!! Or rather, why didn't it burn or go bang in the silencer?

Morning All :D
Not a bad day here but a bit misty to start with.
Delayed by phone calls today, sorry. ;)
All the chores are done, I need to get on t'interweb ordering parts to make her birthday present (a garden swing).:)
Have a really splendid day everyone. :D

As far as they have got with taking down a nearly 40 yr old tree.
Sorry there is nothing to scale it with, but the guy had to cut quite a lot off it to get to this point!

Why do we all seem to enjoy watching things being demolished?? That's today's thought. :)
The tree was insanely dangerous and long overdue for being taken down. If I'd known they were going to do this I'd have taken pics of how branches, insanely long ones, hung over the public footpath. Every time there was a high wind we expected to find branches off!
